Kim Sunée is the author of the bestselling memoir, Trail of Crumbs: Hunger, Love, and the Search for Home (Hachette/Grand Central), which has been translated into Hebrew, Korean, and Chinese. Trail of Crumbs was both a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers pick and a Book Sense pick.

A former magazine food editor (Southern Living and Cottage Living), her writing has appeared in Food & Wine, The Oxford American, Cooking Light, and Garden & Gun. She has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Ladies’ Homes Journal, People, ELLE, and Glamour.

She also works on select food and travel projects as a recipe developer, producer, writer, and editor. She is the co-author of Everyday Korean with Seung Hee Lee of Koreanfusion. Her next project is Our Indonesia: from street foods to feast foods by Ochi and Cédric Vongerichten (Knopf 2027).

Sunée serves on the National Council of Graywolf Press and holds an MFA in writing and literature from the Bennington Writing Seminars.
