Fried Chicken BLT, just one of the many Southern-inspired dishes you’ll find in the cookbook.
Those of you who have been keeping up with the recipe testing I’ve been doing for the forthcoming Tupelo Honey Cafe Cookbook know that I am almost finished and in need of a major juice cleanse (and some soul-soothing, body slimming Bliss spa treatments) after all the gravy and fried pork chops, biscuits, etc.
I spent the week food styling with an incredible crew in Asheville, NC for the Cookbook.
Aside from Chef Brian Sonoskus, stylist, Martha Dugger, art director, Julie Barnes of Andrews McMeel, writer and all-around fun woman extraordinaire, Elizabeth Sims, we also worked with fab and fun photographer Brie Williams (smiling because she is soon to enter a carb-free zone) and photographer, Jarrod Mccabe, whose drunken BLT-eating David Hasselhoff imitation will soon be out on video…

omg – fried chicken BLT!!! It looks great but I’m not sure my gall bladder would survive it. Can’t wait to buy a copy of the cookbook – when does it come out?
Wow – YUM!!! You can’t go wrong with juicy fried chicken with bacon!
I am so excited they are doing a cookbook a Tupelo Honey. Asheville is one of my favorite towns.
Any date on when it comes out?
