Thanks to Hongseok (Angel) “Roy” Ro for his hard work on making a lovely documentary about my return journey to South Korea. And to Mike for the translation. Thank you… Sunée Nunna

Did you ever find your biological mother? By the way, I love your book. You write so beautifully and very naturally. You are definitely not just “playing with words.”
What a wonderful documentary. I’m glad you were able to feel the warmth from Korean people all around. I hope this documentary will reach the proper destination. Love and hope will always be with you.
Kim – I am reading your book, which lead me to your website. Your book is wonderful and the documentary made me cry. As a parent of Korean born children, I am very interested in learning more about your search for your birthparents and if you were successful. My Korean born children hope to meet their birthparents one day and I hope that I will be able to help them walk down that path. Will there be a part 2 of your documentary?
May God bless you.
Jeanne
I just finished reading your book & enjoyed it immensely. Am curious whether you were successful in finding your mother. If you did, were you able to meet w/ her? I am a korean-american adoptee and struggling w/ whether to search for my birth mother or not. Thanks for writing so honestly and from your heart.
Hello Nabi and Jeanne and Elizabeth and Bionicgirl:
Thanks for your responses to the KBS Documentary. I am considering returning soon (hopefully) to continue the search. There are several organizations in Korea to help facilitate this search. GOA’L and Holt, and AKA in the States.
If you would like more info, please contact me and I will see what I can do to help.
Deciding whether or not to search is very personal choice. I know many who have done it with very satisfying results, others are still looking…the process can be very painful as well as fulfilling. I wish you all the best with whatever you decide.
