Book Launch for Trail of Crumbs

It started yesterday with flowers…

at Southern Progress Corporation where I work as food editor for Cottage Living magazine. I could not have asked for a better launch party to start my tour, headed up by Jeanetta Keller and Jake Reiss of Alabama Booksmith and Grand Central Publishing. Thanks to everyone at SPC who came out to support me, esepcially Joy and Erica and Lily…Maridith, and so many others…

There was bubbly, more flowers (courtesy of the fabulous Heather Chadduck, Robin and Haskell), recipes from the book–orange-almond saffron cake, and friends from all over, including this lovely group of women from Michigan who came to my launch party. Thank you Kathy and friends for coming all the way from Michigan!

    Hi Kim,
    I listened to your book on audiobooks and loved it so much I ordered a copy and received it today. (It’s hard to get the recipes listening in the car). I know if your mother (in Korea) would be proud of you.
    I also subscribe to Cottage Living and was going to cancel my subscription but now that I learned you are food editior I’m going to keep it. My mother is Japanese, father American. I went to Japan and met my relatives years ago so I was very sad that you were unable to find your family. If you ever come to Ft. Worth, Texas I will definitely come to a book signing.
