What a delicious "pasquetta" meal.

Pierino just returned from Chicago and will be blogging it soon.

But one of our stops was Tompolo. Rick Bayless is amazing. I had duck, my friend had pig. Various moles were involved.

Your leeks and cherry tomatoes look wonderful.

Ah, what a fine-looking group. The leeks look even better in pictures than they did in person. My heart is still broken that I didn't eat more than one carnita. You know how to bring the best food out in all of us! See you in a couple of weeks.

This meal is breaking my heart. Just perfect. And wonderful-looking eggs. It looks like there are a couple ex-colleagues from Cottage Living in that photo, and maybe one from Coastal, too. Kate is so lucky; in the Berkshires we've still got nothing but thick muck mixed with random snow. At least there were mounds of day lilys out for Easter, so pretty.
