Kim-
I think I wrote my contest piece at the end of the wrong posting! I hope you can find it...

I thoroughly enjoyed listening and meeting you yesterday at Univeristy School's Literary Luncheon. Thank you for signing my book, and I'm researching how to get to Alys Beach in June!

Regards,
Hillary

Hi Kim,
I picked up your book and am currently on page 124 (The Monks Table, but I'm sure you knew that! ;) I am hooked! What a great idea for a book. I can't wait to find out what happens. I can see that you've found success and contentment.

I got curious and decided to Google you and I was surprised to realize that I had seen you on that episode of Iron Chef! I had no idea who you were then, but I loved that episode...loved the secret ingredient Basil! You were wonderful! I'm so excited to find that you have a blog. Anyway, I am bookmarking your blog and look forward to reading anything and everything that you write. :) Best of luck to you. Gotta get back to your book now!
Sincerely,
Shelley

Hi Kim, I have just read (and am re-reading) Trail of Crumbs, and am so inspired by your simple but elegant style of cooking. If you were to advise someone to purchase 5 ingredients that are the best "go-to" ingredients for the pantry (besides the basics, olive oil, fleur de sel, balsamic, etc...) what would they be?

Studio b sounds like an incredible project, and a fantastic concept. Best of luck to you, and I will look for you again on Iron Chef!

Hey, Kim. Where is Alys Beach? Is it far from Miami?
You really need to get down here for one of our Friday dinners. Chef K and I actually mentioned it a few times recently in our conversations. It would be great to have you in our kitchen and at our table.
