Kim - I love your book. I am about half way through . . . What a life! And I thought that my sense of identity was complex, international... I am at the part in the book, just before you land in Korea, where you talk about the possibility of not looking like the majority of other Koreans, and what this may mean. If I may ask, have you managed to locate your birth parents, or do you intend to keep looking? Although your fluid sense of identity may be a burden of sorts, there is also tremendous beauty to it. Your ability to blend, to mix, to re-invent. I can't imagine what it is like to have to peel away layers to get to the part of you that knows you. You are a strong woman. And although I don't know you, I respect you, and wish you much happiness today and in the days and years to come!
