white peaches poached in Lillet Blanc

white peaches poached in Lillet Blanc

Am leaving the farm and decided to poach some peaches in Lillet Blanc to leave as a gift to my amazing and generous hosts, Charlie and Suvir. This recipe is the first in TRAIL OF CRUMBS. I love the pairing of Lillet Blanc with fresh lemon verbena. Basil or lemon thyme would be just as good.

Looks beautiful! I love poached peaches. I really enjoyed reading your book – and it made me want to drink a lot more wine, hehe.

Thanks. This is such an easy recipe to make. Buy extra Lillet Blanc to drink shaken up with a slice of orange.
I’m glad you enjoyed Trail of Crumbs.

Hi Kim – Charlie shared the last peach with me and it was even better than I expected! Summer on a spoon.

Those peaches still haunt me. Simply wondrous and delicious. Dreamy and sublime. They transported me without any Deepak Chopra meditation to a higher place, where everything became oh so perfect.
